Principal's Welcome
Welcome to Assumption Catholic School!
As St. Paul says in his letter to the Corinthians, “There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit; there are different forms of service but the same Lord.” So it is in our Assumption Catholic School community. Each of our students brings to school with them individual God-given gifts. Some may be mathematicians, while others excel at reading and writing. Some play instruments while others can run like the wind. Some of our students have the ability to really listen to a friend, or the patience to walk a young student to the bus each afternoon, while others can persevere through difficult assignments without giving up. Some of our students speak two languages and others can build robots or write code. And each day our students bring these gifts and countless others to our classrooms and to our one school community grounded in the love of Jesus. Many gifts. One Spirit.
As a Catholic school grounded in gospel values, your child will find a second home in our inclusive, faith-filled environment among students from diverse backgrounds and communities. All are welcome and accepted. Our faculty is dedicated to the belief that every child can learn and works to make connections with students to ensure their success. They work in partnership with families to discover and nurture the gifts of our students and encourage them to become the best versions of themselves.
Thank you for exploring Assumption Catholic School. Please, come and visit our warm and welcoming school community. See firsthand the God-given gifts of our students and faculty at work and at play and learn how you can become part of our one Assumption Catholic School family. Many gifts. One Spirit. We can’t wait to meet you!
Many Blessings,
Mrs. Janet Cashman, M.Ed.
Principal.
