Academics Overview

A faith based curriculum is the foundation for the school’s academic excellence, complemented with state-of-the-art instructional technology as well as advanced science and math programming. Consistent with other Catholic schools in Fairfield County with US Department of Education Blue Ribbon designation, the school’s academic program includes curriculum mapping, differentiated instruction, and ongoing faculty professional development to ensure students continue to meet and exceed state proficiency tests in reading and math.  The school community centers itself each day on the teachings of Jesus Christ and instills a strong sense of Gospel values, respect for each other as well as ourselves, and an appreciation for the world around us.  Our safe and secure learning environment is housed on the beautiful grounds of Our Lady of the Assumption parish, nestled in a northeastern neighborhood of Fairfield.  Our student body is drawn from our area towns and communities. The majority of our students live in Fairfield, Easton, North Bridgeport, Shelton and Trumbull.

We are accredited by NEASC (New England Association of Schools & Colleges) and the State of Connecticut.
